REPRESSION AND THREATS
On Tuesday 8 March, as every Tuesday, we met at the Plaza Cagancha to speak out and continue to resist the eviction.

This time the special tube that coincided with International Women's day, which is why we protest with banners referring to the topic saying "PLAZA craftswomen Cagancha resisting eviction."
As IMM inspectors had informed us that they could not be tied to trees and columns of the square, we decided to support them on the beds. Apparently this was also a sufficient reason for inspectors engaged in the repression that characterizes them.
struggles with threats and began to steal the signs and instantly the place was surrounded by police patrol cars and motorcycles, uniformed and civilian.

Notably, one of the inspectors threatened one of our companions, right in the international day of women, saying: "I'll give you a smack, not here or now, but I know how to locate you."

The actions of the municipal inspectors is not surprising since it is the same that have been used for some time. The unbridled arrogance and intimidation are common when dealing with street artisans.

course this is nothing more nor less than a crude provocation and a violation against freedom of expression on the part of the IMM, Mayor Carlos Varela and his group of hired thugs.

Such abuses are not going to stop our struggle, on the contrary, we are ready to step up the ante every day. REPUDIATE

THIS DONE AND WAITING publicly denounced everyone! SOLIDARITY!
