The Association of Journalists of the UGT calls on political parties and institutions to eliminate from its strategy of news media appearances without questions and statements videos. Both practices impede the right of citizens to have a plural and democratic information as reported the Association of Journalists of UGT in June 2010. At the time, far from disappearing, these forms have spread further. Why this year, and because of the acts around the May 3 World Press Freedom Day Press, we believe that such practices seriously injured the ultimate goal of a professional and business sector as one of the pillars of democracy. We recall in this connection that the right to receive accurate and complete as possible is a fundamental right under Article 20 of our Constitution.
In defense of the right called on journalists and editors of media in our country to not cover this type of 
hearings. The free exercise of journalism requires press conferences and interviews where the journalist questioned and on issues it considers relevant information for both the media working in and for society in general. The use of the hearings it only makes sense when communication technique is used by an extraordinary or exceptional issues affecting English society as a whole. We also reject those press conferences and media statements in which only you can ask about the topics that interest the organizer. >>>>
